Norton Anti-Virus users
If you are experiencing trouble receiving email please do the following:
Open Norton anti-virus and disable your email protection. (Your email program must be closed when you do this)
Test your account without email protection and you will receive your messages.
Re-enable your email protection.
Norton anti-virus will give email errors quite often. It changes your incoming mail server to pop.norton.antivirus and it modifies your account name settings. Their email server gives mail errors quite often and has nothing to do with your MTCNet service. Please check this before calling support.
Nothing works, not even web pages!!!
This sounds like a TCP/IP failure. This could be caused by firewall software (especially recently removed firewall software), web proxies, web page filtering software, or a corrupted TCP/IP installation.
